Minimum rest depends on how long the previous match lasted. Enter when it finished and how long it ran; optionally check a proposed next start.
These are minimums within the same category. Recommended: ~4 h is decent, 5 h is ideal; about 3 h usually causes complaints. A player entered in two categories isn't guaranteed the same rest across them.
| Rest minimums (same category) | |
|---|---|
| Previous match under 1 hour | 1 hour |
| Previous match 1 – 1.5 hours | 1.5 hours |
| Previous match over 1.5 hours | 2 hours |
Six randomly-generated matches — pick the minimum rest each pair is owed (same category). Grade to score yourself; hit New set for fresh durations.
Each snippet is a slice of an order of play. Decide whether it breaks a rule — and which one. Randomised and scored.
A 32-draw splits into four sections — Sections 1–2 are the top half (lines 1–16), Sections 3–4 the bottom half (17–32). Click the sections in the order you'd play them to keep rest balanced, then check. (Order logic per FIP course material — the accepted balanced sequences are 2 – 1 – 3 – 4 and its mirror 3 – 4 – 2 – 1.)
