For the pairs entering a draw, work out the draw size, the number of seeds and the byes. Type your answers, then Check — the rule is shown after. Change the count to drill it across sizes.
This is the pure draw-math for pairs going straight into one draw. When entries exceed the largest draw, the extra pairs play qualifying and the main draw is capped (e.g. 44 total entries → a 32 main draw + qualifying — see the Worked example tab).
Pick a draw size, then pick a seed chip and click the line where it belongs. Seeds sit at fixed template lines so the top pairs meet as late as possible. S1 top, S2 bottom; S3/S4 anchor the opposite halves; lower seeds are drawn among their quarter/eighth anchor lines. Then press Check.
Byes = draw size − number of pairs, and they always go to the top seeds first (S1, then S2, …). Set the field, then tick which seeds receive a bye and press Check.
Pick a scenario and choose the correct action. Covers every case from the exercises.
44 pairs → a draw of 32 = 26 direct + 2 wild cards + 4 qualifiers, with 8 seeds. Switch views to see a fully solved draw and a seed-1 withdrawal.
